Midsummer Madness

JUNE
2026

Editors Words

It always seems to be the case that, as we arrive at the midway point of the year in June, we ask ourselves, “Where is the year going?” We may be flying through the year, but let's look on the bright side—literally. June offers warm, sunny weather to help lift those blues.

Around this time of year, when the weather is at its best, we are often treated to more outdoor editorials, and this month’s cover feature does just that.

Midsummer Madness is a thrilling mix of fashion and fantasy—think A Midsummer Night’s Dream meets The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Shot at Temple Newsam in Leeds, the editorial brings together a group of talented creatives that I am personally excited to share with you.

Other features include the work of designer V.A.L.E., whose designs we have featured on various previous occasions, Thom Bartley teaming up with model Jade Coulthard, and a beach getaway editorial by Bee Procter.

In our latest news section, we take a look at the new concept store, BK Case, which has just opened in the heart of Manchester. We also explore topics such as: Has fast fashion had its day? and Where are all the Manchester fashion shows?

June also sees the reintroduction of TYG’s previous series, Ones to Watch—a newly updated feature in which we will share, each month, a group of the newest models in the industry to keep an eye on.

As we give the website a fresh makeover, ready in time for summer, we hope you enjoy everything June’s issue has in store for you.
